Tomorrow is Friday and I'm really excited, but not just for the obvious reasons. Do you want to know why this Friday is so exciting? Because I FINALLY found Madagascar and we're FINALLY getting to watch it after the basketball games! Whoopee! Zak had it hidden in his room among his many PlayStation games.
My parents and siblings love to watch America's Funniest Home Videos together and always get angry when I don't want to. I'm sorry, I just don't like that show. I mean, sure, some of the videos are funny, but a lot are stupid and look very painful. Anyway, when they see one that they think I absolutely have to see, they bang on the wall until I come out there. They don't realize that if I wanted to watch the show, I WOULD BE OUT THERE. Geez Louise.
Alright, I'm about to go do my homework, but before I leave, I have another list. Sure, this was something that was on Facebook and you're supposed to "tag" people, but why limit it to that one little site? Now it's open to the public! Anyway, I worked really hard on this list... and just like posting lists in general.
So long!
Rules: Once you've been tagged, you are supposed to write a list with twenty-five random things, goals, habits, or facts about you. At the end, choose twenty-five people to be tagged. You have to tag the person who tagged you. If I tagged you, it's because I want to know more about you.
01. I have a weakness for sugar cookies. Anytime they're in the vicinity I find them and I eat them all (or as many as I am able to grab).
02. The love I have for Robert Pattinson is more than the love I've had for any other person ever. Even Michael Phelps. I don't know why he affects me so, but I literally get butterflies every time I watch Twilight – like that part right before he walks into the lunch room and the music builds up… and then angels sing. I'm not kidding.
03. Skinny jeans are the best ever. My goal is to be able to fit back into my size six black skinny jeans from the Gap. Those are, and will be forever, my favorite skinny jeans in the world.
04. I hate being almost late to school almost everyday, but not enough to get up any earlier. I'd rather rush out the door at 7:57am and just avoid Main Street so I can speed.
05. Belle is my favorite Disney princess, but I think my favorite Disney movie is Pocahontas. John Smith, I like him.
06. Right now I'm reading a book called Girls' Poker Night by Jill A. Davis. I like it, but I can't decide if it's really good. Do you know what I mean? I think I'm leaning towards the Really Good side though.
07. I finished the book and it's way on the Really Good side, close to the Holy Crap This Book Is Awesome side. Here's my favorite quote from Ruby: "You can't start over. There's no such thing as starting over. There's only history. And right now you're making tomorrow's history, so go out and do something that will be fun to remember."
08. When I get married, I don't want a veil. I don't care if they're traditional or if they symbolize something – I don't like them. They cover up your hair, your face, and they're just… weird.
09. I love musicals! People who don't love musicals have SEVERE BRAIN DAMAGE.
10. If I could ever have a superpower (assuming that I couldn't just be a witch and have all the "powers"), I would choose to have the ability to read minds. Think of how convenient that would be. It would make life so much easier.
11. Reading is my favorite thing to do ever. Next is writing and then sleeping. Actually, maybe sleeping then writing.
12. You know how people want to find their Prince Charming? Well, I want to find my John Smith. My reasons? First of all, Prince Charming is not single, so unless you dig married men, he's not available. John Smith, on the other hand, is very single (since Pocahontas is a douche and ditched him for John Rolfe in the sequel). Second, John Smith has amazing hair. Have you seen Prince Charming's? That's definitely a toupee.
13. When I'm in my car I totally belt it out, especially when I'm listening to the Wicked soundtrack. I just ignore the fact that people can see through windows.
14. I really like lists. No, really. I love them. I have a list fetish.
15. When I "grow up" I want to be an author. If I could be successful at that, I would be the happiest person in the world. If people would read my books and have that bittersweet feeling when they read the last sentence; if they already knew they'd be rereading it over and over; if they would take it to their friends and say, "You have to read this book. I don't care if you don't want to because I'm making you. It's so good." That would be so cool.
16. I really like my hair, eyes, and handwriting. They're some of my favorite things about myself.
17. Buying books makes me unusually happy, almost giddy. I like to keep them in a stack on my desk for awhile just so I can look at them, and then I'll fan the pages to decide which smells the best. I can remember a book by its smell, which is weird even to me.
18. On Saturday night I'm usually at home watching movie after movie, blogging, reading, and doing some other random things like painting my nails or cleaning. That is why I absolutely love Saturday nights. It's my favorite night of the week.
19. I love dresses and skirts a lot. If it weren't for the weather and other things, I would wear them a great deal more than I do now.
20. When someone asks, "If you were stranded on a desert island and could only bring one thing with you, what would you bring?" I always say a stocked cruise ship and wonder why no one else does. I also wonder how one would know in advance that they were going to be stranded.
21. There are these music note flats I have that make a click, click sound – like high heels – and I wish all my shoes made that noise.
22. I love it when people that don't like to read start reading a series or just one really good book that makes them want to read more. The first big wave of this was with the Harry Potter Series, and now the Twilight Saga is picking up the ones that didn't like or read (for reasons unknown to me) Harry Potter. I'M LOVIN' IT!
23. I like to leave notes under my best friends' windshield wipers while they're in basketball practice, and they like to leave me voicemails afterwards singing me a song.
24. Three random fears that I think about too much: A tornado completely destroying Albany, something happening to Schnookums, and being squished by an eighteen wheeler.
25. I typed this list out over a span of several days because I wanted it to be really interesting and very detailed. I do this with all lists.

lovely maggie - i've decided that you are amazing
i love your lists, blogs, and random ramblings about complete nonsense (that seem to make sense!)
thanks for always making my day:)
Aw, Lydia. That made me feel special. Thank you. :)
I'm going to put a box in my car just for notes that I receive on my windshield from you and KaCee.
"Have you seen Prince Charming's? That's definitely a toupee."
Hahaah.
I totally sing hardcore in my car too! When people drive by, I pretend my nose is itchy or something and cover my mouth and continue to sing.
And I totally agree on 20.
