I feel really happy right now, and I'm not sure why that's so. Maybe it's because of a plan that's slowly coming together that I can't tell you about just yet. Maybe it's because I finally picked up the Hollywood Issue of Vanity Fair, which would be wonderful even if it was just the cover.
Maybe it's because I also bought a new dress from Target. And "Kiss Me Coral" lipstick, which I wasn't sure of when I first put it on, but am now certain I love it. It makes me feel girly (or more so), and I like that.
Maybe this is the reason.
It could also be that I am jamming out to a playlist of Glee and Team Starkid, like I have every other night this week. No, really. Every night before I went to bed, I had a dance party with myself.* Usually starting with "Firework", a song that, if we're being honest, I loved before Glee did it. There, I admitted it. I like "Firework" by Katy Perry. If you can get past the lyrics about plastic bags, you'll realize that it's just a REALLY CATCHY SONG.
Maybe I'm happy because tomorrow I'm going on a bike ride with KaCee and we're going to take pictures and be best friends.
Right now I am drinking what's left of the nonfat white chocolate mocha with whip that I got earlier tonight, and it's cold, which is when it's the best–maybe that's it.
Maybe it's because life, in general, is awesome, like, ninety-eight percent of the time. I am blessed.

I think if I had that cover of Vanity Fair in front of me I'd be drooling. And actually, I have to admit that I like "Firework". I mean, it is catchy, even though I also dislike the plastic bag line... It reminds me of American Beauty.
