Six days until the end of my childhood.

The Emma Watson article in this month's Vogue was really, really good. It was very well-written and Emma Watson is just an interesting person. Just in case you wanted to know. Maybe you should go pick up a copy. I mean, who doesn't love an issue of Vogue? Okay, maybe not everyone loves fashion magazines as much as I do. It actually wasn't until the other day in CVS when I was picking up that Vogue, the new Elle, and searching the store for Vanity Fair that I realized how much I love them. Maybe I have a problem.

My midnight premiere tickets for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II have been purchased. When I saw that the tickets were finally available for the Abilene theater, I was sprinting around my house asking my mom for permission to use the credit card, calling my friends, and woo-hooing. I am more excited than I can convey without using capital jumbled letters and the occasional semicolon.*

I watched the premiere yesterday where Emma Watson continued to be the more stunning and chic than everyone else and Matthew Lewis looked particularly–hmm, how to say this–sexy. The speeches that Dan, Emma, Rupert, and Jo made were wonderful and, of course, made me cry. I was actually sobbing at one point.

Yesterday was very emotional.

I tear up every time I read or hear this quote: "The stories we love best do live in us forever, so whether you come back by page or by the big screen, Hogwarts will always be there to welcome you home." Especially that last bit.

I just can't believe that this is really it, you know?

I feel like I might be attacked by you for saying this, but I haven't actually seen The Deathly Hallows Part I... *runs like hell*

I guess I should before the second part is released. And it is a bit of a big deal, this last movie. I mean a crapload of people grew up waiting for these books to come out and then waited for the movies every year, and it's kind of sad that the kiddies of today don't have anything that can be called its rival.

I personally have read a fair few other series, and though I admittedly do like them more than the Harry Potter books (treasonous I know... again, please don't hurt me), there's something about the Harry Potter universe and everything to do with it that just can't be touched. And I don't think it ever will be.

It'll definitely be something when those credits roll for the final time...

EVERYTHING IN THIS POST = EXACTLY.

Matthew Lewis is just like... damn. If he can come out the other end of puberty looking like that then there's hope for each and every poor soul out there.

I was reading Deathly Hallows last night and broke down crying... again. So much crying. I am not prepared for the movie. I simultaneously don't want it to come as much as I do.
