Day Trip

Saturday before last, Keren and I met in Snyder so we could see each other, if only for a few hours. It was a fun little day trip, but entirely too short a time.

Snyder is one of those small towns that doesn't reach its full potential (but I grew up in Albany, so I often look down on other small towns). There isn't very much there that isn't fast food or Walmartexcept for a badly decorated sandwich shop and a combination formal dress/book/baby/pet store, and both of those were already closed. We ended up grabbing a bite to eat at Sonic, and then wandering around taking pictures by random buildings and under train tracks.

I've been thinking of summer plans lately, and all the possible trips I could and want to take. Unfortunately, the Blogger Family won't be having a meetup this summer, which means I'll just have all this spare money lying around unlike the last two summers.* I'm hoping I'll get to take one of the trips I've already planned in my head, as it'll be my last chance before moving to Austin and becoming an actual, real adult person.

Before all that though, I have to finish my last semester of college. Yikes.

Is this the place where you took your badass profile picture?

This summer is still so up in the air. The possibilities are all really exciting but it's so much uncertainty as well! Ugh.

I'm so excited for you graduate and move to Austin and then I will come to visit you always... obviously.

Good luck with your last semester!

And I replied to your comment on my blog about what I'm reading for 19th Century Brit Lit.

LOVE YOU!
