Valentine's Day

It is expected that every single person will be bitter on Valentine's Day, or stubbornly refuse to acknowledge its existence and instead celebrate "Singles' Awareness Day" (also known as the most annoying thing of all time). It doesn't have to be that way though. You could view it as an excuse to dress up in every piece of red and pink clothing you own, or the day before all the candy goes on sale, or the day Darren Criss performed "Love Shack" on Glee and you died. You could view it as a Tuesday.

When you get right down to it, it's just like any other day–it is what you make of it. Here's how I made mine good.

01. Watched this video for the umpteenth time. It's still just as good as the first time I watched it.

02. Laughed at these Tweets.

03. Listened to these songs on repeat.

04. Watched Glee, which always makes me way, way happy. Tonight's episode was especially good though.

05. Had pizza and made cookies with these fabulous people.

I hope you all had a wonderful day as well.

-Maggie

P.S. Happy almost birthday, Melany!

:) You are fantastic.

The only Valentine's-y thing I did was to exchange cards related to Doctor Who and Sherlock with my friends. Otherwise I really didn't even notice, besides the amount of pink and red that everybody was wearing. Oh, and listen to my only friend with a boyfriend (the rest of them broke up already.. ouch) tell me what they got each other.... she wrote him a poem and he cried when he read it. That boy is whipped. It's cute though, I guess. Except for their PDA... but that's enough about that. Haha.

OH. Also. So there's this one guy who is obsessed with the fact that I like Harry Potter, for some bizarre reason. I don't understand it at all considering like 10 other people in the class also like it, but for some reason he is only targeting me. So every time anything happens in which an obscure and stupid reference to Harry Potter can be make, he's always like "OHHHH NATALIE...!"

Example 1) We had to do this online discussion board in which he refered to me as Mrs. Neville Longbottom.

Anyway, THE POINT IS:

Example 2) Yesterday he was like "So, did Harry get you anything for Valentine's Day?" And I thought that was just really not funny. Cause it's been going on for 2 months now. So I thought about throwing acid on his face. Then I thought better. Yeah....

I just felt like telling you this story. Goodbye.

OKAY.... this video is one of my favorites I watch it all the time because I seriously hate being alone and I have to remind myself that it is okay! I love this post. SO much. I am single too and it is TOTALLY normal. Check out what I did on v-day with my friends. They wrote about it on their blog. HILARIOUS. I am going to do a post about it soon but here is a sneak peek :)
